I am an actor/director and an indie author of queer fiction under the pseudonym Kit Barrie, with training in theatre, both directing and acting. I have a Bachelor's degree in Directing for Theatre from Drake University. I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to what I enjoy and what I can work with. Whether you're looking for an audiobook narrator, a commercial VO, a corporate representation, or a wacky cartoon character, I'm your person! 

I have performed in musicals, straight plays, Shakespeare, and various Japanese theatre styles including kabuki and noh. If you want dry sarcasm, snark, or the 'straight man' in comedy, you've come to the right place. My background is in television shopping; if you need someone to sell an air fryer, I got you!  When it comes to audiobooks, I read and write fantasy and paranormal, with a little romance in it, but I really enjoy true crime, animals, and medical and historical documentaries. If it's interesting, I'll read it! If it's not interesting, I'll make it more appealing to your audience. 

While I do love comedy and wit, I take my work very seriously and always strive to be honest and authentic, and to deliver the best final product that I can. I want those who hire me to be happy with their choice and to get their money's worth. I want to tell the story you are passionate about, whether it's fiction, non-fiction, corporate, or marketing.
